London is my current favourite shopping city, and that’s because of Oxford Street and Portobello!
Topshop, River Island, Miss Selfridge, Miss Sixty, Primark, Marks & Spencer, H&M and so on……….
Day 1

We tried to find the Queen’s theatre because YL wanted to watch les miserables.

Meanwhile we found Chinatown!

Day 2
London’s weather is definitely weird. Drizzle, downpour, sunny. All in an hour.

Walked randomly and found another touristy place. London is good for random walk because there are so many touristy places.

Day 6
To Edinburgh

We joined the free guided tour in Edinburgh with their recommendation. The guide was good! Really love his stories.

The guide told us many interesting stories and also about Harry Potter. JK Rowling is from Edinburgh and this was where she first wrote her book. At the window seat above the letter R. Edinburgh is a must go for Harry Potter fans!

The Edinburgh castle.
Day 7
We went to look for our NTU friends who were on exchange to Edinburgh.

I live in the US, but five years ago I went to England with my family church for a Bristol Pilgrimage because the adult choir was in residence at Bristol Cathedral, but that pilgrimage started in London. My family decided to go up two days early to get used to the time difference and to get more out of London.
The first day- we walked near the Westminster Area.
The second day- this when it felt like we actually did something. My sister and I are Harry Potter fans so we went to King’s Cross Station to visit Platform 9 and3/4. After lunch, it was finally time to get back to the hotel. That night, my mom and I saw Les Mis, which was a dream come true. What I thought was cool about that night was while my mom and I had our date to Les Mis, my dad and sister had their own.
The third day- time to meet the rest of the pilgrims at the airport. We started at Windsor Castle- that was the main thing we did that day.
The fourth day- Walking tour of London, and we were able to see Buckingham Palace. Later that night, all of us went to Evensong at Westminster. That was to prepare us for Evensong at Bristol Cathedral.
The fifth day (which was more like 1/2 a day)- time for Eucharist at St. Paul’s Cathedral and we got to sit under the dome. I got to see Tower of London, but only outside. After that, it was finally time to head to Bristol.
Everything else we did were places near Bristol- like Bath, Berkeley Castle, Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury Cathedral for Evensong, Chepstow Castle. The rest of the trip consisted of Evensong and Eucharist at Bristol Cathedral and exploring Bristol.
