Hello. I am Jia Hui. Welcome to my humble blog.

Being a mother changed my life and the way I look at life.

I decided to record my motherhood journey for two of my dearest persons, my mother and my son.

Life is indeed unpredictable. My beloved mother passed on a month before my first child was born. She was the closest person to me and I love her so much. I would come back home from work and chat with her the whole night, every night. I could still remember that day, I ran with my big tummy into the intensive unit. I almost fainted when her heartbeat stopped. Suddenly, my source of strength was gone. It was devastating. She really wanted to see her first grandchild and I really wished she could also be with me on this motherhood journey. Through this blog, I hope that she could somehow witness the growth of her grandson. Ma, can you hear me from above? Can you see his cute photos?

I also wanted to save these precious memories for my son, as I am afraid that one day I will not be there for him. When this day comes, I hope that this blog can let him know how I feel as his mother and that I love him very very much.

I hope that this blog would be useful for any mothers seeking for some comfort in this exhausting yet extremely fulfilling job (AHHH her son also had a milk strike/ refused to sleep/ meltdown/ etc etc).
